Flourishing
The Flourishing Scale is a brief 8-item summary measure of your self-perceived success in important areas such as relationships, self-esteem, purpose and optimism. The scale provides a single metric on wellbeing.
Pursuing elite performance can be extremely challenging. It’s often hard to live up to your own expectations, let alone those who make the important decisions. This test will help give you a gauge of your emotional well-being, a critically important factor in sustained performance.
Add all the numbers together. Now you have your total flourishing score.
Ranges:
- 8-24 lower range
- you may currently benefit from wellbeing boosting activities
- 25-40 mid range
- you may have some psychological resources to draw upon, but you may benefit from engaging in more wellbeing boosting activities
- 41-56 upper range
- you may have a range of psychological resources to draw upon to provide you with a positive baseline state of wellbeing.
